New Features
ADS Logon Hours Enforcement
Enforce password security using auto logoff software.
Screen Pass provides an option for administrators to fully enforce the ADS logon hours, by logging off users when their account hours end. Microsoft Active Directory Services allows administrators to assign logon hours to accounts. As expected, users are not allowed to logon outside of these hours, however under the standard Windows functionality logon sessions are not terminated when the hours expire. Screen Pass completes the functionality by terminating the logon sessions.
Fingerprint/Biometric
Unlock workstations with true administrator override using our auto logoff solution.
Screen Pass can be successfully integrated with most third party fingerprint readers and biometric devices. It has been tested with some of the most popular devices on the market.
Suspend Screen Saver
Centrally control security and auto logoff options
Screen Pass provides a method of temporarily suspending the screensaver when certain applications or titles are active, without compromising security. This feature is useful at times when screensaver activation is unwanted, such as during a slide show or video presentation.
Remote Control
Auto logoff idle workstations.
Administrators can change the lock state, the logon state, or the power state of a workstation without having to visit the workstation. Screen Pass remote control works in conjunction with ActivTrak, the workstation activity monitoring system available separately.
Logoff Button
Limit screen saver selection by using screen pass auto logoff
Administrators may choose to display a logoff button on the Screen Pass main password window. With this button, users can end the current logon session. This is especially usefully on Windows 2000/XP with no fast user switching.
